Affiliations and partnerships with the larger community are an important part of Goddard House life. Goddard House regularly opens its doors to many neighbors. Volunteers, organizations and schools in Brookline and Jamaica Plain are partners in on-site and community-based programs that enrich the lives of all participants. Our residents make frequent trips to take part in the rich offerings of the Boston area. We keep our communities informed about Goddard House projects and elder issues through outreach.

Members of our staff team can speak or present a workshop to your organization or group on topics such as:

Education & Training
Goddard House maintains educational training partnerships with Lesley University, Berklee College of Music, Stonehill College, Wheelock College, Massachusetts College of Art, Roxbury Community College School of Nursing, Brookline Adult Education and many local grammar and secondary schools.


Special Projects
Goddard House and its community partners are innovators for a wide array of projects related to aging. Among these is an exhibit created for the Boston Museum of Science national exhibit, "Secrets of Aging". Grant-funded programs such as music therapy for the memory impaired; senior fitness and autobiographical storytelling further enrich the lives of residents.
