Staff and Services - Care, Knowledge and Understanding
Understanding how to respond to the profound losses accompanying memory impairment is essential in caring for our residents. Therefore, our staff participates regularly in specialized dementia care training.

Physical, psychosocial and recreational needs are taken into consideration when developing each resident's care plan. While providing this care, our goal is to promote feelings of success, contentment and self-esteem.

Gentle communication and warm smiles are part of the nurturing environment of the "Olmsted Place" programs at Goddard House.
