Goddard House Residents & Staff Will Be Among First in State to Receive Covid Vaccine

Through an arrangement with CVS Health/Omnicare, the vaccine will be administered in clinics conducted in our community starting in January.

The CDC has recommended that residents and employees of long-term care facilities (which includes Assisted Living) be among the first to receive a COVID-19 vaccine along with the nation’s healthcare workers.

Goddard House’s arrangement with CVS Health/Omnicare will give access to the vaccine to employees and residents starting sometime in January. With this vaccine, seniors and their families can rest more easily knowing our communities offer a very safe place to live for the foreseeable future.

Getting the vaccine will not change how we implement our ongoing virus control practices. We will continue to follow all public health directives concerning social distancing and mask wearing, as well as our own robust safety protocols, including screening, testing, deep cleaning and sanitizing to keep everyone safe (residents, staff and visitors).
