Alexandra H. Schweitzer
Board Chair
Alexandra has been a member of the board since 2012 and serves as its Chair. She is an Executive Fellow at the Harvard Business School Social Enterprise Initiative. She researches, writes, and brings people together to discuss the drivers of success in health and social care integration for individuals, programs, and systems. She is also an Associate Faculty at Ariadne Labs, a research center and innovation incubator.
Alexandra specializes in leading transformative new ventures from strategy through successful execution. Her healthcare career spans state government, Medicaid and Medicare health plans, and a national primary care start-up. In addition to chairing the Goddard House board, she is on the boards of the Commonwealth Land Trust and Vital CxNs and the advisory boards for the Greater Boston Food Bank and the Community Outreach Group for Landscape Design.
Alexandra has a Master’s in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School, a B.A. in English and American Literature from Brandeis University, and an executive MBA from Columbia University.
