Alicia now supports older adults and their families through the challenges of aging, dementia, caregiving, grief, and life transitions using expressive arts therapies such as music, movement, storytelling, and visual arts.
As a member of the Goddard House Board of Trustees, Alicia is honored to support an organization whose mission deeply aligns with her professional expertise and personal experience. Having witnessed the impact of Alzheimer’s disease on multiple generations of her family, she understands the profound effects of dementia. She feels especially grateful to use her skills in expressive arts therapy to create meaningful moments of connection, joy, and presence with her mother and the families she serves. Through her board service, Alicia is committed to advancing compassionate, innovative approaches to aging and memory care, including Goddard House’s award-winning Creative Aging programs.
