William Van Dorn

Board Treasurer

Will joined the Goddard House Board in 2018.  He is a healthcare professional with a diverse background in both the private and public sectors. 

Will began his career as a legislative aid on Capitol Hill, advising Members of Congress on Medicare policy issues. He subsequently worked as a consultant for Pricewaterhouse Coopers, helping hospital systems navigate regulatory change and improve financial performance. Will’s current role as the Director of Finance for behavioral health at Boston Medical Center, the largest safety net hospital in New England, rounds out his almost 20 years of experience in the healthcare realm.

His interest in improving the aging experience for older adults stems from supporting his father as he battled dementia later in life.  

Will serves as Board Treasurer and also Chair of the Audit & Finance Committee.
