Goddard House recently welcomed Taisha Hendrickson to their Board of Trustees.
Taisha Hendrickson is the Director of Outreach, Engagement and Communications at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, where her main focus is on developing comprehensive outreach strategies to effectively engage and communicate with patients and partners across various cancer research studies that the Institute is leading.
Prior to joining the Broad Institute, Hendrickson’s career focused on utilizing organizational and educational skills to build and enhance marketing and communication goals across various organizations. She has also applied these skills to support mission driven organizations in their efforts to become leaders of change.
This was best exemplified in Hendrickson’s role as Director of Marketing and Communications at the Dimock Community Health Center, where she developed successful strategies centered on reaching marginalized communities to help address the socio-economic barriers and disparities within healthcare, with the overarching goal of creating equitable healthcare access for all.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to further build upon the legacy that the Goddard House has established through the years and collaborate with fellow board members in developing new ideas and initiatives to support the needs of the Goddard House community and beyond,” shared Hendrickson.
“Goddard House is thrilled to welcome Taisha to the board,” remarked Goddard Board of Trustees Chair, Alexandra Schweitzer. “Her deep experience cultivating community relationships will help Goddard House expand our outreach and further develop our community-based programs and partnerships to engage older adults in the Greater Boston community.”
Hendrickson received her B.A. in Marketing and Communications from Bentley University and her M.B.A. from the New England College of Business and Finance. She lives in Easton with her loving husband and two beautiful daughters.
Goddard House embraces the aging experience for seniors living in the Boston area by operating a high-quality assisted living community and by creating innovative programs which support our need for purpose, engagement, autonomy and choice as we age.
The Goddard House Board advances the organization’s mission by guiding its strategic directions and bringing innovative ideas that enhance quality of life for its assisted living residents and for the older adults in the Greater Boston community who participate in its community-based programs.
